THOUGHTS
I began my morning by going through our Church Directory.
My focus was on the “First Name” column. There you all are...
man, woman and child! Prayers were demanded as I walked
through names of LOVED ONES.
We must...
CONSIDER EACH OTHER SERIOUSLY AND
CONTINUALLY.
Get a copy of the Church Directory. Look at it carefully.
Pray for individuals. Call, text, send
cards. Our CONNECTION NOW IS VITAL!
We must be VIGILANT WITH EACH OTHER. LOVING CONTACT IS A MUST NOW!
You are not alone! We are SPIRITUALLY BOUND ETERNALLY IN CHRIST!
We are THE CHURCH!
Rom 12:9-13 Message Bible Love from the center of
who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life
to good. 10 Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second
fiddle. 11 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert
servants of the Master, 12 cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard
times; pray all the harder. 13 Help needy Christians; be inventive in
hospitality.
Gal 5:22 Message Bible But what happens when we
live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit
appears in an orchard— things like affection for others, exuberance about life,
serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion
in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and
people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments,
Jas 3:17-18 Message Bible Real wisdom,
God’s wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along
with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings,
not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. 18 You can develop a
healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only
if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other
with dignity and honor.
“If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart,
I’ll stay there forever.” —Winnie-the-Pooh
“I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each
other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.” —Winnie-the-Pooh
My Prayer:
Our God, Father of all creation, make us sensitive to one another in love. Help
us think of each other intensely in this time. Help us each to express
our love and concern for the other. May we be your family in the place!
In the Name of Jesus Amen
